• Firefighters respond to house fire on Hillview Drive in Cayuga County (fingerlakes1.com) — Fire crews from Union Springs and neighboring departments battled a serious house fire on Hillview Drive in Cayuga County, where several animals were reported dead and hoarding conditions complicated the response. No people were found inside during initial searches, and investigators are still working to determine the cause and full extent of the damage.
