$19M UES Penthouse, Barbra Streisand’s Townhouse Top Manhattan Sales

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Twenty-nine apartments over $4 million sold this week in Manhattan, and the two most expensive ones were both in an Upper East Side condo building, according to the latest data from the Olshan Report.

The most expensive home sold this week was a penthouse at 200 East 75th St., between Second and Third avenues, that sold for $19,700,000, the Olshan Report said. The second penthouse in the same building sold for $17,500,000.

Eight other luxury homes over $4,000,000 sold on the Upper East Side this week, including five co-ops, two other condos, and one townhouse, which was once Barbra Streisand's home.

Streisand's home, on East 80th Street, was resold at $15,800,000 after just selling this August for $15,900,000.

Just one block over from Central Park and the Museum Mile, the townhouse was where the EGOT-winning artist lived when she performed memorable roles in movies, including "The Way We Were" in 1973 and "A Star Is Born" in 1976.
