$20.5M Condo Tops UES Luxury Real Estate Deals

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — It was a busy week for the luxury real estate market on the Upper East Side, with nine deals closing over the $4 million mark, including three co-ops, five condos, and one townhouse, according to the latest data from the Olshan Report.

The most expensive home on the Upper East Side sold this week was a condo on Madison Avenue that went for $20,500,000 the Olshan Report said.

The chart-topping condo is located at 1122 Madison Ave., between East 83rd Street and East 84th Street. The building, which released its floor plans on Jan. 15, has gone into contract on 13 chart-topping units so far, the report shows.

Designed by Studio Sofield, the building sits one block from Central Park and comprises 26 condo residences spread across 22 floors, in addition to a fitness center. Since launching sales, the building’s owners have raised prices three times, Olshan reported.
