4 Madison Avenue Retail Spaces Change Hands In $20.7M Deal: Report

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Acadia Realty Trust has acquired four retail storefronts along Madison Avenue for $20.7 million, according to Crain’s New York Business.

The properties are located within two luxury condominium buildings: The Bellemont at 1165 Madison Ave., near East 86th Street, and The Benson at 1045 Madison Ave., near East 80th Street. The transactions were finalized on Tuesday, Crain’s reported.

At The Bellemont, two storefronts sold for $4.9 million and $7.8 million. At The Benson, the other two retail spaces traded for $1.6 million and $6.4 million.

Current tenants in the spaces include Swarovski, Malin + Goetz, Le Labo and Italian fashion retailer Davide Cenci, according to Google Maps.

The purchases are part of Acadia’s wider retail buying spree across Manhattan and Brooklyn, which has reached $505 million so far in 2025, Crain’s reported.
