$8.5M Co-op Tops UES Luxury Real Estate Deals

Here are the Upper East Side's most expensive homes sold from March 30 to April 5.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — It was a shortened week for the luxury real estate market on the Upper East Side, with just three deals closing over the $4 million mark before the city went on break for Passover and Easter, according to the latest data from the Olshan Report.

The most expensive home on the Upper East Side sold this week was a co-op on East 87th Street that went for $8,500,000, the Olshan Report said.

The chart-topping co-op is located at 21 East 87th St., between Fifth Avenue and Madison Avenue.

The pre-war apartment features five bedrooms, six bathrooms and one powder room, according to the listing. The home has an expansive living room, a butler's pantry, a media room and library, as well as a "suburban-sized" laundry room and several walk-in closets.
