Here's a round-up of meetings and events in the neighborhood for Jan. 17 through Jan. 23.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Most meetings and events may be virtual these days, but there's still plenty happening on the Upper East Side.

Patch has compiled a list of events for neighbors to mark on their calendars. From community meetings to family events, here are the dates to know for the week of Jan. 17.

Monday, Jan. 18

The Manhattan Church of Christ (48 East 80th St.) is hosting a free meal from 10 a.m. to noon, according to Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer's office.

Wednesday, Jan. 20

Community Board 8Full Board Meeting at 6:30 p.m. The agenda will include a proposed "Safe Haven" shelter on East 91st Street, among other topics. Register for the Zoom meeting here.

Thursday, Jan. 21

Community Board 8 Roosevelt Island Committee meeting at 6:30 p.m. The agenda includes Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation capital projects and updates by Acting President Shelton Haynes, Roosevelt Island Bridge bike lane updates from DOT and an update from the Coler Task Force.
