Ex- UES Congressmember Sues City, Townhouse Owners After Fall
The former congressmember says she fell outside a Carnegie Hill townhouse in February and suffered a broken shoulder.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Former Upper East Side Congressmember Carolyn Maloney is suing the owners of a Carnegie Hill townhouse and the City of New York after a slip-and-fall on a sidewalk last winter left her with hospital bills.
According to the court documents, Maloney was walking by 134 E 92nd St., between Lexington and Park avenues on Feb. 15 when she slipped and fell on ice.
In the suit, Maloney said the "grievous personal injuries" required surgery and a hospital stay, and have led to "permanent and significant" limitations.
