Fast-Casual Health Food Spot 'Muscle Maker Grill' Opens On Upper East Side
The new Upper East Side eatery will serve up healthy meals on Second Avenue between East 73rd and East 74th streets.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A new health-conscious, fast-casual restaurant offering meal plan bundles has opened on the Upper East Side. Muscle Maker Grill, a regional chain founded in 1995, opened its newest location in New York City on Second Avenue between East 73rd and East 74th Streets.
"People are more health conscious now than ever. As part of our long-term growth strategy, we are always exploring locations, like the Upper East Side, that are areas that attract busy families and active singles alike," Robert E. Morgan, president and CEO of Muscle Maker Grill, told Patch. "We believe the diverse area will embrace Muscle Maker Grill for our fresh, healthy menu options in a casual atmosphere."
With its newest location, Muscle Maker Grill now has eight restaurants in New York City. Seven are located in Manhattan and one is located in Staten Island.

Muscle Maker Grill on the Upper East Side will feature menu items such as protein shakes, fruit smoothies and healthy wraps, salads, pastas and entrees. In addition to grab-and-go dining the new business will offer meal plan bundles offering five, 10, 15 and 2o meals.
