Goop Kitchen Is Coming To The Upper East Side

Oh my goop.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Goop Kitchen, a fast-casual dining concept from West Coast wellness queen Gwyneth Paltrow, is putting down its roots on the Upper East Side.

The new Upper East Side eatery will open at 346 East 92nd St. at First Avenue, according to signs posted to the door. The new restaurant is taking over the space most recently occupied by Butterfield Market's bakery outpost.

Goop Kitchen, dreamt up by chef Kim Floresca and Paltrow, will serve takeout grain bowls, salads, wraps, and more, with a focus on "clean eating," which, by the brand's definition, means no refined sugars, processed foods, gluten, dairy, seed oils, corn, peanuts, or preservatives.

So far, the eatery has 14 locations in California, and is planning at least two more New York City locations, including one in Flatiron and the Upper West Side.

The menu includes hearty mains and sides like the Brentwood Chinese Chicken Salad, the Montecito Turkey Wrap, and the Goopfellas Pizza.

The opening timeline of the Upper East Side location has not been made public yet, but according to the brand's Instagram, it will open after the Flatiron location's rollout this summer.

Goop and Goop Kitchen did not respond to Patch's request for comment.
