JFK's Duplex Penthouse Sold: Top 5 UES Real Estate Deals

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — For the second week in a row, the Upper East Side dominated the luxury real estate market, with 13 residential sales over the $4 million mark during the week, including the sale of a penthouse previously used by President John F. Kennedy, according to the latest data from the Olshan Report.

The most notable sale this week was a duplex penthouse in The Carlyle Hotel that was at one point reserved for President John F. Kennedy for whenever he visited New York City.

The two-bedroom apartment sold for $12.995 million, and its monthly maintnence fees are a whopping $66,895, which includes all hotel amenities including maid service, valet, spa service and more.
