Man, 75, Assaulted On The UES, Police Say

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Police are searching for a suspect after a 75-year-old man was pushed to the ground and kicked on the Upper East Side, New York City Police Department officials said Thursday.

According to the NYPD, the victim got into an argument with the suspect in front of 1578 York Ave., near East 83rd Street, on April 10.

The argument escalated, and the suspect pushed the 75-year-old to the ground and started kicking him, before running away, heading downtown on York Avenue, police said.

The victim sustained minor injuries but was not hospitalized, police said.

Police are investigating the incident and have released surveillance photos of the suspect.
