Man Gropes 12-Year-Old On Subway, Police Say
The man sexually assaulted a girl riding a downtown 6 train passing through the Upper East Side, police said.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Police are searching for a man accused of groping a 12-year-old girl on a 6 train passing through the Upper East Side.
The 12-year-old victim was riding on a 6 train from East 68th to East 59th streets on Friday, May 5, when an unknown man approached her and groped her butt, police told Patch. The assault occurred around 3:30 p.m., police said.
The man exited the train once it arrived at the East 59th Street station, police said. Police said the man is likely in his 30s, stands 6 feet tall and weighs around 230 pounds. The man (pictured above) was wearing a black golf hat, black hoodie and dark pants during the assault, police said.

The man is currently wanted for forcible touching, police told Patch.
