UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A new early childhood education center is coming to Lenox Hill this spring.
The Goddard School, a national early education franchise, is scheduled to open a new location on East 63rd Street between First Avenue and Second Avenue in March, the company told Patch.
The school, called The Goddard School of Lenox Hill, will be the sixth Goddard location in Manhattan.

"We’re excited to make The Goddard School experience available to even more working families in Lenox Hill,” Ryan Fisk, a longtime educator and Upper East Side resident, said.
The school will be co-owned by Fisk and Rami Singh, who operates Goddard School locations in Murray Hill and StuyTown.

"Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing environment that gives every child the opportunity to thrive, ensures they are fully prepared for kindergarten, and sets them up for success throughout their educational journeys," Fisk said.
The new school will include 13 classrooms, two multipurpose rooms and secure entry points. The school will also feature hospital-grade sanitation systems and enhanced health and safety measures, the company said.
Once open, the center will provide year-round, full-time care for about 135 children, ranging in age from six weeks to 5 years old.
The school will follow Goddard’s inquiry-based curriculum, which encourages children to learn through guided exploration and questioning, the new school said.
"Our inquiry-based approach encourages curiosity and builds critical thinking, collaboration and communication skills; competencies emphasized in New York State’s updated high school graduation standards and framework," Fisk said.
The new school will be located at 307 E. 63rd St.
