NFL Heiress Assaults Lawyer Outside UES Restaurant: Reports
The confrontation started after the socialite allegedly made anti-Semitic comments to the lawyer and his family on New Year's Eve.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — An Upper East Side socialite is facing charges for whacking a lawyer from California in the head with a glass purse on New Year's Eve, according to multiple reports.
Jacqueline Kent Cooke — the daughter of former Washington Redskins owner Jack Kent Cooke — was booked at the 19th Precinct Wednesday for a New Year's Eve altercation that allegedly began after the NFL heiress spewed an anti-Semitic tirade at California-based lawyer Matthew Haberkorn, the New York Post first reported.
Cooke, 29, allegedly said "hurry up, you Jew," at Haberkorn's mother at the coat check of pricey East 74th Street Italian restaurant Caravaggio, the Post reported. Haberkorn, 59, was dining at the restaurant with his mother, wife and daughters, the Post reported.

The altercation was captured on video by one of Haberkorn's daughters, the Post reported.
The nasty comments eventually led to an altercation on the street where Cooke hit Haberkorn in the head with a heavy Lulu Guinness purse made out of mirrored glass, the Post reported. Cooke has since filed her own complaint against Haberkorn, who appeared at the 19th Precinct Thursday for a desk appearance ticket, the Daily News reported.

"She alleges something happened around the corner that wasn't on the video, but nothing happened," Haberkorn told the Daily News before arriving at the precinct house.
Cooke refused comment to a Daily News reporter who knocked on her door Wednesday night by denying any involvement in a New Year's Eve altercation.
