The two burglars entered the consulate from an unlocked side door early Monday morning.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Beware all foreign dignitaries — given the chance, Americans will steal your booze.

Police are searching for two burglars who entered the Indonesian Consulate on 68th Street early Monday morning through an unlocked side door before stealing a case — yes an entire case — of vodka, a Samsung tablet, a suitcase full of clothing and keys to a 2004 Honda Odyssey, police told Patch. The two suspects then took off in the stolen van around 1 a.m.

The suspects are described as one man, 18 to 25 years old wearing gray sweatpants and dark colored sandals and one woman 18 to 25 years-old wearing a black and white striped tank top, dark colored pants and white sneakers.
