Wahlberg-Backed Burger Joint Debuts On Upper East Side
The burger restaurant, called Wahlburgers, opened recently on the corner of Second Avenue and East 85th Street.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Some new kids on the block are trying to corner the Upper East Side burger market.
Wahlburgers — a burger chain backed by Mark and Donnie Wahlberg — recently opened on the corner of Second Avenue and East 85th Street, according to a company press release. The burger join serves up a menu of "better" burgers, sandwiches, salads and sides created by the third Wahlberg brother — chef Paul Wahlberg.
The Upper East Side restaurant is the Wahlberg's first foray into Manhattan and the second in New York City, according to a press release. The chain also operates a restaurant in Coney Island.

"Wahlburgers has had its eye on Manhattan, starting with the Upper East Side and opening in coming months in Times Square," read a press release.
If you want to eat like Mark Wahlberg, you'll order the "Thanksgiving Day Sandwich," according to a press release. The burger, built around ground turkey patty, features stuffing, mayo, house-made orange-cranberry sauce and roasted butternut squash. If you're a bigger fan of Donnie — currently touring with the New Kids On The Block — you'll go with the "BBQ Bacon Burger."

The Upper East Side Wahlburgers has enough seats to accommodate 160 diners and features a 25-foot-long centerpiece bar, according to a press release. Diners can eat in, or pick up their food from a grab-and-go counter. The restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m.-11 p.m., according to a press release.
