UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Police are searching for suspects after a 75-year-old woman was injured during a robbery on the Upper East Side, New York City Police Department officials said.

According to the NYPD, the victim was on East 61st Street near First Avenue when two men approached her from behind and grabbed her purse at 8:17 p.m. on March 13.

The victim fell to the ground, and the men ran away, heading into the 59th Street-Lexington Avenue subway station with her purse, police said.

Medics responding to the scene treated the woman for minor injuries, police said.
