93-Year-Old Woman Robbed While Shopping At UWS Zabars: Police
The suspected robbers stole the woman's wallet from her walker before spending $2,400 on her credit card at Bloomingdales, said police.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A 93-year-old woman was robbed during the hustle and bustle of shopping at Zabars.
The incident took place at the popular high-end grocery store at 2245 Broadway, near West 80th Street, at 2:20 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, according to police.
It took a team effort to rob the 93-year-old.

While working in unison, two people approached the woman from behind.
A man wearing a baseball hat and a light-colored hooded jacket distracted the senior citizen, while a woman wearing a burgundy and white striped button-down shirt and grey sneakers with blue laces snatched the woman's pocketbook and iPhone from her walker, police said.

The pocketbook had $200 and credit cards.
The pair then fled out of the store into the Upper West Side streets.
Two days after the robbery, the victim's credit card was used to buy $2,400 worth of apparel from Bloomingdales, according to police.
Police released photos of the two suspects on Saturday.
