MANHATTAN, NYC — A burglar managed to snag $30,000 in liquor, cash and electronics from 18 Manhattan bars and restaurants shut down by the coronavirus in the last two weeks, police said Wednesday.

The same man broke into bars and restaurants stretching across the borough, from the Lower East Side to the Upper West Side, between April 21 and May 4. Each time, he got in by breaking glass doors or cutting vinyl front doors, police said.

Cops caught the man on surveillance video during two of the incidents, including the first time he broke into a restaurant on at the Upper West Side.

The second surveillance clip is a photo of the thief's sixth heist at NISI in Midtown. The man breaks into the 250 West 47th St. eatery just after 3:30 a.m. on April 25 and takes six tablets and three bottles of liquor, police said.
