UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A man assaulted a woman inside an Upper West Side subway station, police announced late Sunday, more than two weeks after the woman was groped.

On May 18, at about 10:40 a.m., a 21-year-old woman was standing on the platform waiting for a northbound A train when a pervert grabbed her buttocks, police said.

The creep then fled the scene to unknown parts of the subway station, an NYPD spokesperson said.

Police described the man as about 30–35 years old, about five feet seven inches tall and around 175 pounds. They also released an image of the suspect, who was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored pants and a black baseball hat.
