β’ NTSB: Plane bounced on runway before hitting trees in Piseco, killing pilot (timesunion.com) β A longtime aviation instructor from Valhalla, Kenneth Andreu, was killed when his small plane bounced several times on takeoff and then struck trees at Piseco Airport in the Adirondacks on July 12. A preliminary NTSB report describes witness accounts and airport video but does not yet explain why the aircraft crashed. Investigators may take up to two years to issue a final cause.
