Native Plant Gardening at Valley Stream Community Garden
Event Details
Stop by our beautiful chapter garden in South Nassau to build community and look after Long Island's native plants and pollinators. We generally meet every Saturday from 9-11 AM until the season ends.
A few of our activities include:
- Planting native species and collecting seeds
- Growing/harvesting vegetables
- Maintenance activities: pruning, weeding, watering
- Learning about sustainability and local initiatives
Our priority is to have fun, get outside, and care for our environment—so come join us!
