• Verplanck Seniors Activate Support Network with Community Raffle to Fund Local Aid (peekskillherald.com) — Verplanck seniors are hosting a Penny Social fundraiser at the Verplanck Community Center on Sixth Street, Saturday, May 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Proceeds will support the Senior Citizens’ Club’s year-round aid, including food bank donations, school supplies, holiday meals, and help for local fire, EMS, and veterans groups.
