The Town Board is currently reviewing the permit, while the developer’s attorney argues planned landscaping and lighting controls will reduce impacts.
   

• Cortland stabbing suspect taken into custody in Vestal (wicz.com) — Police arrested a suspect in an attempted murder case at Town Square Mall in Vestal on September 29, after a stabbing in Cortland left a victim seriously injured. Authorities say the suspect and victim knew each other and there is no ongoing threat to the public, though the investigation continues.
