Desmond Ryan, executive director of the Association for a Better Long Island (ABLI) stated, “This significant investment by the private sector is an outstanding example of how progressive zoning can create innovative and much needed housing while leveraging mass transit options and a walkable suburban downtown.”

The Hudson House is an elevator equipped, four-story building with 28 one bedroom apartments and eight two bedroom layouts. The apartment homes feature modern open kitchen layouts with wood plank style flooring, raised panel cabinets and modern appliances. Other features include keyless entry, and energy efficient heating and cooling systems. On site amenities include a common area social room with a flat screen television. On-site parking is exclusively available to residents.

The community is conveniently located within walking distance to the Mineola Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) station and walkable to the many services, shops and dining options found throughout the Village of Mineola.

Also currently under construction by Mill Creek Residential located at 140 Old Country Road in Mineola is Modera Mineola, a five story building with 275 market rate apartments scheduled to open next year. These two developments mark an important milestone for the Village of Mineola as it creates the environment for strategic investment in the community through the construction of new housing opportunities and choices that appeal to changing demographics allowing all members of the community options to remain residents of Nassau County.
