Chezar Summer Show Features Two Wantagh Residents
Sheila Chezar-Hershkowitz and Hannah Cigliano have paintings in art show.

The Chezar Art Studio Summer Show is running through August 29th at the Jericho Public Library. Wantagh residents, Sheila Chezar-Hershkowitz and Hannah Cigliano have paintings in the show.
Sheila Chezar- Hershkowitz, founder of the studio announced that the reception was a wonderful event with over 75 people who attended. The August show features paintings and drawings of 14 talented artists and students who have attended the studio since its opening in 2012.
Hannah Cigliano is a 14-year-old student who just started with the Chezar Art Studio this summer. Hannah enjoys acrylic painting and has just completed her first piece of artwork at the studio. She lives with her parents and two younger brothers.

Sheila Chezar-Hershkowitz received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York City and also attended the Woodstock Summer School in Woodstock. In 2012, she founded Chezar Art Studio, located at 1069 Bellmore Avenue in Bellmore. Recently, she has also conducted a spring art class at the Jericho Public Library, which will continue in the fall. Sheila works with various mediums with a heavy concentration on portraits.
