Cops: 15 DWIs Reported Last Week

Fifteen people were charged with drunk driving last week, according to Nassau County Police.

Nassau County Police reported the following information. Charges are merely accusations and to not indicate guilt.

Aug. 8: Christopher Lanphear, 25, of Lawrenceville, charged with DWI at I-495 Exit 34W in North Hills.

Aug. 9: Osman Canales, 32, of Westbury, charged with DWi at Hempstead Turnpike and Carman Avenue in East Meadow.

Aug. 9: Shamal Perry, 28, of Hempstead, charged with DWI at Hempstead Turnpike and Marlboro Road in West Hempstead.

Aug. 9: Monique Cozza, 21, of Oceanside, charged with DWI at Mott Street and Fifth Street in Oceanside.

Aug. 9: Noe Alatorre-Diaz, 42, of Medford, charged with DWI at I-495 Exit 34 in North Hills.

Aug. 10: Ryki Louis, 18, of Riverhead, charged with DWI on Route 27 in Merrick.

Aug. 10: Juan Romero, 48, of Westbury, charged with DWI at Post Avenue in Westbury.

Aug. 10: Bruce Desiste, 27, of Elmont, charged with DWI at Stewart Avenue and Central Avenue in North Valley Stream.

Aug. 11: Erazo Cruz, 26, of Inwood, charged with DWI at West Broadway and Linwood Avenue in Cedarhurst.

Aug. 11: Stephon Zephyr, 27, of Brooklyn, charged with DWI at Broadway and New McNeil Avenue in Lawrence.

Aug. 11: Alexa Drovetta, 23, of Farmingdale, charged with DWI at Route 27 and Wynsum Avenue in Merrick.

Aug. 12: Markenson Saint-Vil, 33, of Uniondale, charged with DWI at Route 24 and Coolidge Drive in East Meadow.

Aug. 13: Oliverio Garatachia, 49, of Westbury, charged with DWI at Nassau Street in Westbury.

Aug. 14: Jesus Escalante, 24, of Flushing, charged with DWI at Nassau Road and Pine Street in Uniondale.

Aug. 14: Michael Scoma, 35, of Bellmore, charged with DWI at Division Avenue and Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown.
