Cops: 3 Men with Guns Broke Into Mulberry Street Restaurant
Three men caught hiding in basement and waiting for restaurant to close, police said.

Three Freeport men face burglary and weapons charges after they broke into and hid inside a Seaford restaurant, according to Nassau County Police.
At 8:32 p.m. Monday, a 911 caller told officers they saw three people enter a basement door of the Mulberry Street restaurant on Sunrise Highway, cops said.
Responding officers said they found Damon Morck, 43, Benjamin Donaldson, 22, and Tyler Ryan Juers, 19, inside the restaurant. They were reportedly waiting for the restaurant to close for the night.

All three were taken into custody at the scene. Police said they were found with two loaded semi-automatic Rami handguns.
Morck was found with cocaine and a brown, waxy substance was found in Juers’ car, which was parked behind the restaurant, police said.

The three men were charged with second-degree burglary and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Morck and Juers were also charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. They will be arraigned Tuesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
