Cops: Frozen Food Thief Fought, Injured Security Guard in Levittown

Man took food from King Kullen in June, cops said.

Nassau County Police released a surveillance photo of a man they say stole frozen food and fought with a security guard in a Levittown supermarket.

Cops said the man caught on camera went into King Kullen on Hempstead Turnpike at 6:05 p.m. on June 7. While there, he took $10 worth of frozen food packages and tried to leave without paying, police said.

When a loss prevention officer approached him, the subject fought with him and injured the officer in the right bicep, cops said. The man then fled the store in an unknown direction, cops said.
