Cops: Man Stole $35K in Electrical Equipment
Franklin Square man stole copper wires and fuses from electrical company where he worked, police said.

A Franklin Square man was charged with stealing expensive equipment from his Massapequa employer, according to Nassau County Police.
Andrew Walsh, 27, stole copper wires and fuses valued at $35,000 from an electrical company where he worked as an electrician, detectives said.
Walsh stole the items on two separate occasions on July 19 and Aug. 14, cops said.

Walsh was charged with two counts of third-degree burglary and third-degree grand larceny. He will be arraigned Tuesday in First District Court in Hempstead.
