Off-Duty Nassau Cop Arrests Vandal Mid-Graffiti
Police say the man was responsible for multiple acts of graffiti at a Nassau train station.

An off-duty police officer arrested a man spray painting graffiti at the Wantagh train station early Tuesday morning.
According to police, the officer was at the station at 12:05 a.m. Tuesday when he saw Christopher Hallick, 25, of Forest Avenue, Massapequa, spray painting vulgar language onto cement pillars. The officer identified himself as being a police officer and, with the assistance of of other officers, placed Hallick under arrest.
Police say that a further investigation determined that Hallick was also responsible for spray painting other pillars and a fence. At the time of his arrest, police say Hallick was in possession of a switchblade knife and a white, powdery substance believed to be Alprazolam.

Hallick is charged with third-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
