The L.I. Cabaret Theatre, under the direction of Gary Dana and musical director Sid Cherry, presents a new musical show entitled “The Broadway Cabaret”, a musical story about a group of contest winners brought to NYC to perform on the Broadway stage, on Saturday Nov. 5 and Saturday Nov. 12 at Temple B’nai Torah (formerly “The Suburban Temple”), 2900 Jerusalem Avenue, Wantagh, N.Y. at 8 p.m.

The show is choreographed by Nicolina Sciascia. The show will consist of 40 musical numbers (with dancing and costumes), two live bands, The Long Island Cabaret dancers, a cast of 35 singers, and special guest star Tom Stallone (Nov5). Dancing after the show will be provided by “Where’s Ringo?” featuring Jen Grabowski on Nov 5 and “Mixmasters” featuring Barry Greenfield on Nov. 12. There will be snacks, beverages and mixers served; and dancing after the show until the early morning hours. Seating is night-club style at round tables. It promises to be a fun-filled and exciting evening!!

The Long Island Cabaret Theatre members have performed in several countries throughout Europe; shows in North Carolina, highlighted by a performance at the Crystal Coast Amphitheater; and as a guest singing group at the Von Trapp Lodge in Vermont. The group also performs many shows at local libraries and hospitals, in addition to its night club-style performances at St. Rose of Lima and Temple B’nai Torah.
