Family Mourns Following Fatal Motorcycle Crash; GoFundMe Page Started
The donation site has received more than $18,000 in contributions in less than 24 hours for the Wantagh family.

WANTAGH, NY — A Wantagh family is grieving after a weekend crash led to the death of 49-year-old Michael Bozzo.
Bozzo was driving a motorcycle on Sunday afternoon when he slammed into a pickup truck on Wantagh Avenue, police said.
A GoFundMe page has been created to help Bozzo's family.

"Our hearts are broken and his children have lost their role model," the person, Julianna Niedermyer, wrote on the page.
The description also said Bozzo's death leaves a void as he was a "friend and beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and son."

Since the GoFundMe page started on Monday, more than $18,000 in contributions were made.
In lieu of flowers, they seek donations for Bozzo's wife and children to move forward in their future.
