Free Show: Danny Weinkauf of They Might Be Giants in Long Beach
Weinkauf and his band will perform songs from his new children's album on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

Danny Weinkauf, the long-time bassist of They Might Be Giants, and his band are performing a free concert at Neptune Beach, Neptune Blvd in Long Beach, on Saturday 6:30 p.m. sharp.
The Grammy-winning composer and Lynbrook native will perform songs from his new album, No School Today, with hits “Champion of The Spelling Bee,” “The Moon Is Made of Cheese,” “Archaeology” and more.

Weinkauf and his band deliver the kind of music that parents enjoy as well. He is, after all, the one who wrote and sang the popular They Might Be Giant’s Hit, “I Am A Paleontologist.”
Weinkauf, who has also worked with Fountains of Wayne, says Saturday’s show will include TMBG favorites.
