It's Monday, and it's going to be another busy week in Wantagh-Seaford.

- Halloween Haunted Yard for Long Island Cares: Halloween Haunted House to Benefit Long Island Cares. Be Prepared to be Scared, local family decorates their house with scary creatures, animation and people staged (weekends only and Halloween night). - Meeting on Community Policing and Quality of Life Issues: Legis. Dave Denenberg, D-Merrick, is hosting two meetings on community policing and quality of life issues. The first will take place at Seaford Library on Wednesday. Click here for more.
- Wantagh Preservation Society's Autumn Community Yard Sale: The Wantagh Preservation Society's Autumn Community Yard Sale is an important fundraiser for the Society to support the maintenance of the Museum and the completion of the restoration of the old Wantagh Post Office and the Jamaica Train.
