Largest Breast Cancer Walk Returns To Jones Beach This Fall
The 32nd annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Long Island walk is on Oct. 19.
WANTAGH, NY — The American Cancer Society announced plans for its 32nd annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Long Island walk this fall at Jones Beach.
It's the largest breast cancer walk in the country.
Event organizers will host a celebration and noncompetitive 3- and 5-mile walks along the Jones Beach Boardwalk in a supportive environment for courageous breast cancer survivors and caregivers and families alike.

The walk is held on Super Strides Sunday on Oct. 19, where the "Making Strides" movement includes numerous walks across the nation, supporting breast cancer patients and research.
It's scheduled for Field 5 with a rolling start from 7 a.m.-10:30 a.m.
