LI "Momtrepreneur" Opens Kidville Wantagh

LI Momtrepreneur Alexis Fritz was recently joined by local community members and dignitaries for the grand opening of her Kidville Wantagh.

Wantagh, NY; September 17, 2014 – Kidville Wantagh, the go-to destination for little ones to play, learn and make new friends, welcomed Long Island community members with open arms for its grand opening weekend with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, September 12 and parties on Saturday and Sunday, September 13 through 14. The globally-growing Kidville franchise offers an array of classes, programs and birthday party options for newborn children through children six- years of age.

To celebrate the opening of the new 4,000 sq. ft. facility in the Willow Wood Shopping Center in Wantagh at 1183 Wantagh Avenue, Kidville Wantagh hosted its own set of Grand Opening activities. At each sold-out party, guests had access to the Kidville Playspace, a take-home arts and crafts project from the Kidville Art Table, a live concert played by the four piece Kidville Rockin’ Railroad and much more.

On both days the Kidville Rockin’ Railroad band held two performances for guests to enjoy. The signature band is part of the lively music classes offered regularly at Kidville Wantagh. In addition, Kidville Wantagh offers classes including: Run Wiggle Paint & Giggle, Ballet Tea Party, Kidville Sports, Camp Kidville and Kidville University (Kidville’s pre-school alternative program). The Kidville Wantagh facility is also the home of three classrooms, an indoor play area and a retail boutique.

Town of Hempstead Supervisor Kate Murray, Town of Hempstead Councilman Gary Hudes, NYS Assemblyman David McDonough and Nassau Legislators David Denenberg and Dennis Dunne joined Wantagh Chamber of Commerce President Denise Langweber and Secretary Pauline Briggs to help owner Alexis Fritz cut a ceremonial ribbon, which was decorated with artwork done by children, which was followed by a toast with chocolate Yoo-hoo.

In her early career, Alexis worked as a professional in her family’s real estate and property management business. Her entrepreneurial instincts, business savvy and unwavering support of her family and the birth of her daughter, all led her to investigate opening a Kidville franchise where early childhood “play and learn” would be the focus.

We are thrilled to finally open our facility and hope that both parents and children share the same enjoyment,” said Alexis Fritz, Kidville Wantagh Owner.

About Kidville
The Kidville concept started when Shari Misher Stenzler, co-founder of London Misher Public Relations, found herself carrying her baby and stroller down a long flight of stairs for her child’s first music class. “There must be a better way,” she thought and began informally polling friends and fellow parents about their needs.

Fun and familiar geometric shapes are the design foundation for the Kidville interior space. Used with vibrant colors, the design elements encourage exploration and intuitively guide children throughout the space. This playful and cross-functional design provides the perfect setting for everything from intimate classes to “Big Blow Out” birthday parties.

Kidville operates locations across the globe including New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Illinois, Maryland, California, Nevada, Texas, the United Arab Emirates, and Canada. Visit Kidville on the web at kidville.com.
