Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. Long Island Swim School offers swim lessons for children ages 2 - 14years old. POTSDAM, NY - Over 1,000 students, including several local natives, are set to graduate from SUNY Potsdam this Saturday.The graduating Class of 2016 will be honored at a special ceremony for the college's 200th anniversary which will take place on May 21 starting at 10:15 a.m.The local students who will be honored at the ceremony include: Wantagh native Katherine Marsman, who will be graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology; Wantagh native Allison Prestia, who will be graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education and Seaford native Joseph Taylor who will be graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice Studies.To watch a live stream of the commencement ceremony, click <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYgVucCCJT8" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here.</a>
