Mulcahy's Hosting Fundraiser For Children's Cancer Patients
The money raised will go to benefit a foundation that helps children undergoing cancer treatments.

Mulcahy's in Wantagh will host a fundraiser this weekend for the Friends and Angels: The Tracy Vicere Foundation — and you can still get tickets for this fun and beneficial evening. The Tracy Vicere Foundation was founded by its namesake, who battled two different cancers as a teenager. She spent months at Schneider Children’s Hospital and wanted to give back to the institution that saved her life.
Schneider Children’s Hospital is now known as the Cohen Children's Medical Center, but the Tracy Vicere Foundation's mission hasn't changed. The foundation decorates rooms for patients, provides them with books and school supplies, hosts special events and much more.
The fundraiser at Mulcahy's will help the foundation continue its mission. To date, the foundation has raised more than $100,000 for its cause. This year's fundraiser will be held Oct. 14 from 4 to 8 p.m. There will be food, music, raffles and more. Tickets are $75 each, and all proceeds benefit the foundation.
