Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. A Nassau man died Saturday afternoon after he drove his car into a structure on the Wantagh Parkway Saturday afternoon.According to police, Howard Solomon, 72, of East Rockaway, was driving a 2017 Chevy Equinox south on the Wantagh State Parkway. Just after 4:17 p.m., he struck the Jones Beach welcome structure in the center median. He was pronounced dead at the scene. There was no one else in the car.Police are still investigating the accident. Anyone with any information is asked to call the State Police at (631) 756-3300.Photo: Shutterstock
