Police: 2 Dead in Meadowbrook Parkway Crash
Car lost control on Meadowbrook, hit median before slamming into tree, cops said.

Two men have died after their car crashed on the Meadowbrook State Parkway early Monday, according to New York State Police.
Officers were called to the scene north of the Southern State Parkway for an accident at 12:12 a.m. Monday. Responding officers said they found a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro had lost control in the southbound lanes and struck the cement median. The car crossed all lanes of traffic before striking a tree on the right shoulder, cops said.
The driver, Stanley Miles, 22, of Roosevelt, and Darren Gregory, 31, also of Roosevelt, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash prompted police to close all southbound lanes between Exits M5 and M6 between Hempstead Turnpike and the Southern State until about 7 a.m.
The investigation is ongoing.
