Police: Couple Sold Drugs in Seaford with Toddler in Car

Couple had 13 bags of heroin and a gravity knife in their car when they were caught by police, cops said.

A man and woman face drug and endangerment charges after they were caught selling drugs with their toddler in the car, according to Nassau County Police.

Cops said at 9:21 p.m. Monday, Sharod Certain, 21, of West Babylon, and Kaleya Robinson, 22, of Brentwood, pulled up to the corner of Jackson Avenue and Condit Street in Seaford.

After they pulled up to the intersection, officers believed the two sold heroin to another person, cops said.

Officers took Certain and Robinson into custody and found that their two-year-old son was in the back seat of the car, police said.

Detectives discovered 13 bags of heroin and a gravity knife inside the car after their arrest, cops said.

Both Certain and Robinson were charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and endangering the welfare of a child. They will be arraigned Tuesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
