Police Searching for Man Who Robbed Store Owner at Knife Point

The man stole a woman's phone, cash and car keys before fleeing.

The police are looking for the public's help in identifying a man that robbed a Wantagh store owner at knifepoint earlier this month.

According to police, on Jan. 14, at about 5 p.m., the man pictured above was seen on surveillance camera at a massage parlor located at 3046 Merrick Road. The man asked for a massage from the owner, who was out back of the building, and then pulled out a knife and stole $300, an iPhone and a car key. The robber fled the scene southbound on Sycamore Avenue on foot.

Police are asking anyone with who can identify the subject, or with any information about this crime, to call Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-244-8477 (TIPS). All callers will remain anonymous.
