'Precautionary' Lockdown At Seaford HS Due To Threat: Police
The school reopened a short time after officers deemed the school safe on Thursday morning.

SEAFORD, NY — Seaford High School was placed in lockdown after Nassau police said the district received a threat.
Police would not specify what type of threat, but they respond to the school shortly after at 7 a.m. and it was closed temporarily as a precaution, a spokesperson told Patch.
The school opened a short time later when officers deemed the threat "non-credible," Superintendent of Schools Dr. Adele Pecora wrote families, and police deemed the school to be safe.
