Swastikas Found Carved On Nassau Playground

Police are seeking the public's help to find the person who carved the symbols of hate on a slide.

Nassau County police are seeking the public's help to find whomever is responsible for anti-Semitic graffiti found carved into a playground in Wantagh Saturday night.

Police say officers responded to the playground at Marina Playground in Wantagh Park at 10:28 p.m. after receiving a call for three swastikas carved into a slide on the playground.

According to News 12, the swastikas have already been removed.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
