3 Caught Breaking Into Cars: Nassau Police
Police say the trio, including a 16-year-old, was stealing from cars while driving around in a stolen SUV.

Nassau police arrested three people that they say were breaking into cars in Wantagh early Monday morning.
According to police, officers received a 911 call around 2:30 a.m. for suspicious men that were breaking into cars near Douglas Avenue and Whitehall Lane. When officers arrived, police say they found two men who fit the description that was provided.
Police say that multiple cars in the area had been broken into and that the two men were in possession of goods stolen from the cars. Police say the officers then found a third man hiding in a car, and he also had stolen items on him.

A further investigation showed that the SUV the three were driving in was stolen, police said.
Police arrested Joshua Bonilla, 21, of Union City, New Jersey; Anthony Pierre, 21, of Brooklyn; and a 16-year-old. Bonilla is charged with third-degree grand larceny, petty larceny and unauthorized use of a vehicle. Pierre was charged with petty larceny, unauthorized use of a vehicle and criminal possession of stolen property. Both were arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Tuesday.

The 16-year-old was charged with petty larceny and unauthorized use of a vehicle. He is scheduled to appear in Family Court at a later date.
