UJA-Federation of New York’s Third Annual Mitzvah Monday Campaign On June 23, 2014

On Monday, June 23, 2014, an anonymous donor will match each $10 gift made to UJA-Federation of New York’s annual campaign via its website, up to $2,500 for the day, for a combined impact of $20. The Mitzvah Monday campaign, now in its third year, is a UJA-Federation one-day fundraising push before the end of its fiscal year on June 30th to help care for New Yorkers in need.

According to UJA-Federation’s “Jewish Community Study of New York: 2011,” 565,000 New Yorkers living in Jewish households are affected by poverty. Even small donations can make a difference in the lives of those most vulnerable — just $10 can feed one child for an entire day.
