Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. Learning how to administer the overdose antidote Naloxone could help save someone's life.  New York State Senator Michael Venditto will be co-sponsoring a free overdose prevention and Naloxone training program at Seaford High School, located at 1575 Seamans Neck Road, on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m.     Participants will learn how to recognize and prevent an overdose, what to do if someone overdoses on prescription drugs or heroin and how to administer Naloxone. Participants over the age of 18 will receive a free nasal Naloxone kit.    Registration is required.
