Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. A man held up a Wantagh gas station at gunpoint Tuesday night, police said.  According to detectives, a man armed with a handgun approached the clerk at OK Petroleum gas station, located at 767 Wantagh Ave., at 11:50 p.m. and demanded money. The clerk complied and the subject fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash on Hunt Road. There were no customers present in the store at the time of the robbery.  The robber was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark blue jeans, black and white sneakers, a scarf covering his face and white gloves. No further description is available.  Detectives ask anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
