Nassau Gas Station Robbed at Gunpoint
BREAKING: Police are searching for a man who emptied the station's cash register late Tuesday night.

A man held up a Wantagh gas station at gunpoint Tuesday night, police said.
According to detectives, a man armed with a handgun approached the clerk at OK Petroleum gas station, located at 767 Wantagh Ave., at 11:50 p.m. and demanded money. The clerk complied and the subject fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash on Hunt Road. There were no customers present in the store at the time of the robbery.
The robber was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark blue jeans, black and white sneakers, a scarf covering his face and white gloves. No further description is available.
