Wantagh-Levittown Ambulance Volunteers Brave the Blizzard
Volunteers stayed overnight, helped dig residents out in the morning.
The neighborhood was much safer during the blizzard thanks to the Wantagh-Levittown Volunteer Ambulance Corp.
Volunteers stayed all night at headquarters and answered several emergency calls during the blizzard, officials said.
On Tuesday morning, they also took time to help neighbors dig out of snow drifts.
